Dylan Tait Tribute Fund
On November 12 of 2014, my 23-year-old son Dylan was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He underwent surgery in November to remove the tumor, but unfortunately still required chemotherapy as part of his treatment plan. His chemotherapy started on January 5, 2015 and he still has 6 weeks to go.
One unfortunate side effect of chemotherapy is hair loss. Before he started treatment, Dylan shaved off his long locks and donated his hair to the Canadian Cancer Society to help make wigs for other chemotherapy patients. He was joined by his brother Kevin and his cousins Lachlan and Blake.
To share in Dylan's experience, I too will be shaving my head on February 3rd along with my dad Logan, brother Bruce, my brother-in-law Dean, my nephew Greg and my daughter Danielle's partner Jared.
The care that Dylan has received from both the Chinook Regional Hospital and the Jack Ady Cancer Centre at the CRH has been nothing short of incredible. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful facilities right here in Lethbridge, staffed by committed, compassionate and caring professionals!
I encourage you in joining me, and my family, in supporting these fantastic facilities through the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation’s Caring Heart Tribute Fund. Funds raised in support of Dylan will benefit both the Chinook Regional Hospital and the Jack Ady Cancer Centre.
Thank you so much for your support!
Gord Tait, Logan Tait, Bruce Tait, Dean Spriddle, Greg Tait, and Jared Hirsche
