Karen Raphael
Board Service: 2016 – 2026
Over 10 years of service, Karen Raphael has guided the Foundation as Board Chair, RD&P Committee Chair, Finance Committee member, and Past Chair. Her background in hospital care settings at Chinook Regional Hospital provides valuable insight into patient care and healthcare operations. Bryan Machacek
Board Service: 2016 – 2026
Over a decade of dedicated service on the Board of Directors, Bryan Machacek has provided invaluable leadership, financial insight, and business expertise. As a Partner at Ignite CPA, Bryan has guided key Foundation investments with care and integrity, ensuring donor support creates a lasting impact for patients, families, and healthcare teams across southern Alberta. We are deeply grateful for his 10 years of commitment and service.
Cathy Martin
Board Service: 2017 – 2025
Concluding seven years of dedicated service on the Board of Directors, Cathy Martin has been an invaluable leader across numerous Foundation initiatives. Her thoughtful guidance, steady presence, and passion for our mission have left a lasting mark on health care in southern Alberta. While concluding her Board term, Cathy will continue to support our community through the Christmas Tree Festival committee. We extend our deepest thanks for her unwavering commitment.
